Knowing & Doing God’s Will

1 John 2:3–6 (ESV)
And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TELL US GOD IS LIKE?
I. GOD IS LOVE
1 John 4:8 (ESV)
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
A. Because of His LOVE you can KNOW His will is always best.
II. GOD IS ALL-KNOWING
1 John 3:20 (LEB)
God is greater and knows all things.
A. Because of His KNOWLEDGE you can TRUST His direction for your life.
III. GOD IS ALL-POWERFUL
Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
A. Because of His POWER He is STRONG ENOUGH to help you.
